LERO Wind Tunnel Testing System Supports Low-Altitude Economy Research Platforms at Universities

The large open modular wind wall (wind tunnel) testing system custom-built by LERO Intelligent for a university research platform has been successfully delivered, supporting research on the aerodynamic performance and flight control reliability of low-altitude aircraft such as drones and eVTOL.

The wind wall system adopts a modular array design, flexibly adjusting the wind speed field and flow field uniformity, simulating complex airflow environments under real flight conditions, and providing reliable experimental conditions for aerodynamic verification, structural strength testing and noise analysis of low-altitude aircraft.

During the project, LERO's R&D team worked closely with the university, conducting joint research on flow field calibration, data acquisition and safety control to ensure that all system indicators meet research needs.

LERO will continue to deepen industry-academia-research cooperation and support low-altitude economy research and talent cultivation with advanced testing equipment.
